In this post, I will be sharing tips on how to keep black skin shining. To be a dark skinned person is one of the most flattering gift nature would endow on any male or female. But heyy,just because its a gift does not mean that it would take care of its self. It needs to be nourished and taken care of.
Here are some ways on how to keep black skin shining
Drink lots of water in a day to help keep black skin shining
First and most important skin care factor is drinking lots of water in a day.
It is important to take at least 7 glasses of water a day. Taking in water constantly helps to nourish the skin. It is essential to drink these several glasses of water because we don’t want our skin dry and flaky.Do we? I guess not!
Shea Butter
Okay so moving on,my number one recipe for a nice dark glowy skin is Shea butter.
Yes! Shea butter!!!.

How I prepare my Shea butter for use
This is how I prepare mine before using it on my skin.
Shea butter in its all natural form is kindda hard to rub in my palm plus it leaves residues on the skin after smearing it. I really don’t like how it feels on my skin this way.Therefore,before I use it,I put it on fire just to melt( do not cook it ) and then I add in my Johnson’s baby oil
Now the reason for adding this baby oil is that,because its made for babies, it has little to no harsh effect. Again,it brings down the strong smell of the shea butter when applied on the body. It also helps considerably in helping the skin to soften up. You can other essential oils if you don’t like the baby oil. It would work either ways.
After mixing in the baby oil in the melted Shea butter, I let it sit for a while to cool down and settle into a solid form(yes it gets back into a solid form).
It is now excellent for me to use now. The Shea butter now turns soft and pleasant for me to use.
How I apply it
I normally apply it twice daily.
One in the morning after my bath and one in the evening before I go to sleep.
This routine has helped me immensely in helping to keep my skin smooth and shiny all year round.
